First of all, I want to sincerely thank you for inviting me to judge at the Young Dogs and Veterans Day!
I feel very honoured by the trust placed in me by the Irish Wolfhound Club Belgium, especially your president Paul D\u2018hooge.
For more than 50 years, dogs have enriched my life. Starting as a little boy with a toy poodle, followed by many other breeds like Great Dane, Yorkshire Terrier, Bearded Collie, etc. But for what feels like forever, my heart has belonged to Irish Wolfhounds. Unfortunately, I could only realise this dream with my fianc\u00e9e Eva about 17 years ago after we found the right house for us and our hounds. Today, we currently have 5 IWs in our household who make us smile every day. During this time, we have delved deeply into the breed and have also taken up breeding. We have successfully shown our dogs all over Europe (from Finland to Montenegro), winning titles such as European Champion, Federal Champion, German Winner, countless champion titles, and even the Irish Champion title with our male Bacio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I\u2019m really looking forward to my trip to Belgium and hope to see lots of beautiful dogs in the ring and catch up with many friends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I love the special atmosphere at your club\u2019s own shows!
A big thank you also goes to my better half Eva, who holds the fort at home and takes care of the puppies. None of this would be possible without her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
