Dear Irish Wolfhound friends,
For the first time we have our Championship Show in May here in Lokeren, an outdoor show in stead of an indoor show in November! Let’s face it, both Men and Hounds prefer it this way and it is by popular demand that we decide to make the switch…
On this occasion we invited mrs. Csilla Juhász from Hungary and we are very glad she accepted our invitation. If my memory serves me right this is only the second time she is judging in Belgium.
Let’s hope she will enjoy her short stay in our country.
As for you, dear exhibitioner, we hope of course that you too will have a nice day and you enjoy the Show and the Hounds. We wish everybody lots of success!
Running a show without Stewards is simply impossible, therefore we are very gratefull these three lady’s accepted the job, don’t forget they are in ring the whole day long and see to it that everything is correct!
May we ask to keep the venue clean, we plan to use it more in the future…

Beste Irish Wolfhound vrienden,
Wij heten U allen welkom op onze traditionele Junior & Veteran Day hier op Het Verloren Bos in Lokeren. Als de voorspellingen kloppen zouden de hoge temperaturen van de voorbije weken voorlopig voorbij zijn, iets wat we alleen maar kunnen toejuichen.
We stellen het vandaag met minder inschrijvingen dan de voorbije editie en dat heeft zijn reden.
Niet alleen zijn er de voorbije 2 jaar beduidend minder pups geboren, maar tevens zijn er meerdere shows in binnen- en buitenland die vandaag plaatsvinden.
Maar met 31 inschrijvingen zijn we bijzonder tevreden voor een activiteit als deze!
Wij willen de heer André van den Broek uit Nederland van harte bedanken om onze uitnodiging te accepteren. Gisteren nog in Keulen en vandaag hier bij ons.
Wij hopen dat hij een aangename dag mag beleven hier in Lokeren.
Graag willen wij ook die mensen bedanken die een handje hebben toegestoken en zo hebben bijgedragen tot het slagen dan deze tentoonstelling…
Wij wensen iedereen veel succes en een fijne dag op het Verloren Bos!

Due to the lockdown in the Netherlands, we have to cancel our winter walk.

The Netherlands will go into a strict lockdown over the Christmas and New Year period to try to contain the highly- contagious Omicron coronavirus variant.
